Today, the first cruise ship for the 2024 Season arrived at the pontoon of Dunav Tours. MS River Adagio is sailing on the itinerary from Vienna to the Delta of the Danube river with 145 tourists from the USA on board. Traditionally, bread with honey and salt were offered to guests in a ceremony of welcome and accompanied by Bulgarian folk music. Then they went on a tour with local guides to the Town of Veliko Tarnovo being the old capital of Bulgaria.

Ms. Zlatomira Stefanova, Deputy Mayor, greeted the team of Dunav Tours, the ship’s crew and the tourists. The “Tourism” Department at the Municipality of Ruse provided brochures “Enjoy every minute in Ruse”, where foreign guests can get information about sights in the vicinity.
